The deluxe futon mattress is medium firm. Soft enough to use as a couch and firm enough to use as a bed. The futon has a 3-year warranty. It contains 4 layers of cotton and 4 layers of 1 inch dense foam for the best comfort and strength.

Thank you for finally making a quality futon. We have had 3 futons in last 10 years and this is by far the best futon. I love the sliding mechanism to put in a bed and the frame is very sturdy. Mattress is very comfortable.
